體驗看不見的恐怖！ea（台灣）宣布，經典驚悚生存遊戲《生化危機》系列即將於9月15日推出pc版《生化危機5》。包括曝露在耀眼太陽光照射下的市區、毫無人煙的城鎮，以及像是洞窟般的陰暗地點，都會有意想不到的可怕生化怪獸衝出來襲擊玩家。透過pc平台強大的3d繪圖功能，以更細緻的方式呈現出血腥殘暴的恐怖感。
《生化危機5》以延續一切故事開端的《生化危機》洋房危機10年後為背景，故事舞台搬到了人類發源地非洲，在這塊炎熱的大地上擁有並非僵屍也不屬於寄生獸的敵人，飽經歷練的克里斯（chris）將與新搭檔席娃（sheva）共同面對潛藏於黑暗大陸的神秘生化危機。登場敵人部分，除了有玩家所熟悉的生化僵屍犬，貌似巨大蝙蝠的全新登場生化合成怪獸，以及受到寄生而失去理智成為嗜血殺人狂的電鋸人、巨斧劊子手等也都將一一登場。
在夥伴合作模式方面，克里斯與席娃將以火力互相掩護，彌補各自的視線死角，並視情況給予夥伴必要的協助，還可以透過共同行動來攀高越墻，克服地形障礙。在pc版當中，特別新增新傭兵模式，敵人將比遊樂器版本多了三倍，同時克里斯與席娃都添置了新服裝，席娃將穿著美麗的秘書裝帥氣地殺出生路。
